A deeper understanding
of yourself starts here
Psychotherapy for adults navigating change, relationships, identity, money, and the parts of life that don't always make sense.
“Insightful, compassionate, and has a great sense of humour — an inviting and caring space to explore life’s complexities.”
When something doesn’t feel quite right
You may come to therapy because something specific has happened: a relationship has ended, you're moving through a loss, you're facing a career or life transition, or anxiety has started to take up more space than you'd like.
Or perhaps your life looks fine from the outside, but you feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure why you aren't feeling the way you think you should.
Therapy offers a space to slow down and become curious about what's happening beneath the surface. Together, we'll explore your experiences, emotions, relationships, and the patterns that may be shaping how you see yourself and move through the world.
My approach is psychodynamic, but the work is collaborative and grounded in where you are now. Sometimes understanding where a pattern came from can create new possibilities for how you relate to yourself, others, and your life.
What I can help with
AREA OF FOCUS
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up as worry, overthinking, irritability, perfectionism, or feeling like you always need to be in control. We can explore what may be underneath it.
Identity
Who we are can change over time. Therapy can be a space to explore the roles, expectations, and beliefs you've carried, and whether they still fit who you're becoming.
Life Transitions
Divorce, career changes, aging, retirement, and other turning points can leave us questioning what comes next, and what these changes mean for you.
Relationships
Our relationships can bring out patterns we don't always understand. We can explore connection, conflict, boundaries, and communication.
Grief & Loss
Loss can change more than the person, relationship, or circumstance we've lost. It can affect our identity, relationships, and how we imagine the future.
Men’s Mental Health
Men don't always experience or express emotional difficulties in ways that are easy to recognize or talk about. Therapy can provide space to explore this.
Money touches our relationships, our sense of security, our identity, and the choices we make every day. My financial-industry background and psychotherapy training give me a particular perspective on the relationship between money and mental health.
Money is part of the story, too.
HOW I WORK
Therapy is a process of discovery
My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which means we can look beyond what's happening on the surface and become curious about the experiences, relationships, emotions, and patterns that shape your life.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and humour to the work while creating space for the things that may be harder to see or put into words. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. We can start with what's happening now and see where it takes us.
